maybe some more explanation. the built-in update function of firefox is
disabled because ubuntu's update manager does the updates.
if you want to run firefox 3 from command line make to add "./" in front
of "firefox". otherwise you start the system wide installation of
firefox which is in your case firefox 2.0.0.8.
