AFAIK, gutsy is as stable as the latest git versions of libGL (and /usr/lib/dri/i965_dri.so), libdrm, kernel-side drm. Also AFAIK, the fix for the graphics lockups could be in any of those pieces of software. When I say "as stable", I don't mean perfectly stable. e.g. ut2004-demo locks up my g965 quite easily. So does SPECviewperf 9.0.3's tcvis. It is better than e.g. Edgy, where even some screensavers could lock it up. -- #define X(x,y) x##y Peter Cordes ; e-mail: X([EMAIL PROTECTED] , des.ca) "The gods confound the man who first found out how to distinguish the hours!
