OK, keep those files removed.

The issue of 'pa_pid_file_create() failed' looks like a stale .pid
somewhere. Either from a previous session or from root if somehow you've
configured a separate instance for daemon mode.

First please try removing your local config:

  rm -rf ~/.config/pulse

and then reboot.

If it still doesn't work then you need to look for files ending in
'pid', probably under /var/
