OK, keep those files removed. The issue of 'pa_pid_file_create() failed' looks like a stale .pid somewhere. Either from a previous session or from root if somehow you've configured a separate instance for daemon mode.
First please try removing your local config: rm -rf ~/.config/pulse and then reboot.
