That's weird, not sure why that wouldn't be working, if you get to grub you probably did everything correctly... I'm using a Surface Pro 2017, which is the Pro 4's successor though. Maybe make sure secure-boot (and maybe the TPM, too) is disabled? Also it seems like someone had the same problem as you with a Pro 4 and Fedora, so you might just want to try Ubuntu: https://www.reddit.com/r/SurfaceLinux/comments/7y4k29/success_fedora_27_on_a_surface_pro_4/ Or you could try out Fedora 31 beta, which should have a 5.3 kernel: https://download.fedoraproject.org/pub/fedora/linux/releases/test/31_Beta/Workstation/x86_64/iso /Fedora-Workstation-Live-x86_64-31_Beta-1.1.iso -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1730924 Title: Wifi does down "crash" in Surface Pro 4 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/linux/+bug/1730924/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
