Public bug reported:
Installing 19.10 on a multi boot SSD.
Preformatted the SSD partition with ext4 prior to running the installer.
During the install told it to not format the / partition
You get an error message "An error occured while restoring previously-
installed applications. Blah Blah
Please see attached photo's. Also you cannot use the report error due
to obsolete package versions.
