Hi Nicholas,
The reason for the error you got is because you had a local
configuration setting for ssh in your /etc/ssh/ssh_config:
-Host *
- UseRoaming no
The upgrader was asking whether to keep your changes or revert to the
vanilla config. Since it timed out without an answer, it defaulted to
keep your configuration changes, which seems sensible in this case. The
other changes were just deltas in commented-out lines, so would not
affect your installation at all. I think you can safely ignore the
error.
(It might be nice if the upgrader provided a less confusing UX for
situations such as this, but that's outside the scope of ssh.)
