Looks very good, thanks! There is only a little problem, but since we are doing this merge we can correctly it immediately. Did you notice that we have an Icon=xtide entry in the .desktop file, but there doesn't seem to be any icon? What about installing one? I have seen an icon_48x48_3color.png in iconsrc (which is also used in the homepage) which could do for us, its not the best of icons but I think its better than none. If you do that, would you submit these changes (desktop file and icon installation) to Debian?
