Hi Guo, that bug sounds interesting but will need further evaluation what is actually going on.
Seeing Paul is subscribed as well and his bugs usually are coming with existing upstream reports or even patches (thanks BTW) I'm pulling on that straw and wanted to ask first (before any debugging session on my side) if there are known upstream discussions or even fixes existing already? Furthermore (I'm not sure how involved or comfortable you are doing so Guo) it would be great if you could try that on a qemu build on latest master of qemu. Gut feeling tells me (unless there is a known fix, see the above question) that this needs an upstream report anyway. If/Once you tested with that we can add a bug task for Upstream qemu to have them take a look as well. (Or you wanted to report that to upstream Qemu anyway and hit Ubuntu's-Qemu by accident, let me know if that is the case to fix it up in the bug tasks for you) ** Changed in: qemu (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1847578 Title: [KVM] [Crystal Ridge] Fail to change namespace mode in VM which have 256 backend files To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/qemu/+bug/1847578/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list firstname.lastname@example.org https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
