Note that the fix doesn't mean you will be able to open it, but that
there's a check which will avoid the core dump.

"The effect is intended. Only one instance should be able to access the DB
file. The failing fcntl() indicates that some other instance still holds
the lock. There it is correct that the program terminates.
But of course the core dump is evil. To improve this I added a check for
database locking error code along with an explanation why the program
terminates ("The Liferea cache DB seems to be used by another instance
(error code=%d)! Only one accessing instance is allowed."). I think this
improves the behaviour a bit."
