Hi Frank, It has been 9 days, or slightly over a week since you applied the respun test kernel to your systems.
Are your systems stable now? Are they suffering any symptoms of Bug 1842037 or Bug 1828978? Is the test kernel more stable than regular released Ubuntu kernels? Do you think the patches you requested fix the problems you were having? Does the test kernel still crash when mis-behaving NFS clients connect? Let me know how the respun test kernel is going. If things are good, I can begin the process of getting the patches into an official Ubuntu kernel. If things are not good, if you provide some logs of call traces you are seeing, we can keep working on solving your problem.
