Hi Hans,
()[root@7bd43ba9e153 /]# apt policy rally
rally:
Installed: (none)
Candidate: 0.9.1-0ubuntu2
Version table:
0.9.1-0ubuntu2 500
500 http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu bionic/universe amd64 Packages
()[root@7bd43ba9e153 /]# apt policy python-rally
python-rally:
Installed: (none)
Candidate: 0.9.1-0ubuntu2
Version table:
0.9.1-0ubuntu2 500
500 http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu bionic/universe amd64 Packages
I debugged it with aptitude (I have no idea whether this is possible
with pure apt, please let me know and I will be grateful) - and it looks
like the culprit is python-ironicclient:
python3-ironicclient breaks python-ironicclient
--\ The following actions will resolve this dependency:
-> Downgrade python3-ironicclient [3.0.0-0ubuntu1~cloud0 (bionic-updates,
now) -> 2.2.0-0ubuntu1 (bionic)]
-> Remove python3-ironicclient [3.0.0-0ubuntu1~cloud0 (bionic-updates, now)]
-> Cancel the installation of python-ironicclient
So rally is indeed not provided by UCA which has migrated to python3 for
Train.
