Following on from earlier raised problem, My laptop is HP Pavilion g7
(Intel® Core™ i5-2430M CPU with Radeon HD 6470M and Intel HD 3000 GPUs.

Had to add nomodeset parameter when initially installing Ubuntu 18.04 to
avoid blackscreen/freeze


Am unable to boot Ubuntu 18.04 without nomodeset parameter being set.

Get to Login Screen, after logging in, purple screen freeze, and Ubuntu
18.04 does not load
