Public bug reported:
Trying to install 19.10 on s390x LPAR using subiquity hangs on the
step/screen that comes AFTER "Configure Ubuntu Archive mirror" -
probably the partition screen.
I got the message:
"
Probing for devices to install to failed
Unfortunately probing for devices to install to failed. Please report a bug on
Launchpad, and if possible include the contents of the /var/log/installer
directory.
"
The FCP multipath devices looked good from the command-line (shell)
and after restarting subiquity I was able to see the partitioning screen and
was able to complete the installation.
It seems that curtin did the probing before the FCP multipatch device
got created.
