Public bug reported: I don't know if this counts as a bug or not but it's pretty simple. I have a few DVD's one of them being the Windows Vista DVD and they can't be read by Ubuntu.
They mount as UDF volume with one text file in them. It seems that something required to read them is missing. I found source forge patches for this that supposedly correct this. I'm not a programmer or even an advanced Linux user yet so adding this patch is still slightly beyond my ability. Again I don't know if this a bug or by design. The fix seems simple though. source forge link http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?grou...95&atid=300295 ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- UDF volumes 2.5 iso-133464 not recognized https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/165097 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
