While it is true that Ubuntu ships Audacity 1.3, there is no intention
to revert to Audacity 1.2, as there are a large number of known bugs
closed with the new Beta release. If you find the supported release
unreliable, please report a bug describing the way in which it is
unreliable, and efforts will be taken to address this issue.
