Public bug reported: While I installed Ubuntu Server 19.10 on s390x using the image ubuntu-19.10-server-s390x.iso and of course using subiquity, I ran into a problem with the disk config (that is addressed in a separate bug: LP 1849537). But when I reached that situation I saw the following screen and message:
“ Probing for devices to install to failed [Help] =================================== Unfortunately probing for devices to install to failed. Please report a bug on Launchpad, and if possible include the content of the /var/log/installer directory. “ (or see attached screenshot) Now, if I understand the navigation in subiquity correctly, I should have been able to go back via Esc (Escape key), but that didn't worked - hence this subiquity UI ticket. ** Affects: ubuntu-z-systems Importance: Medium Assignee: Canonical Foundations Team (canonical-foundations) Status: New ** Affects: subiquity (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: installer s390x subiquity ** Attachment added: "error_screen.png" https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1850460/+attachment/5301169/+files/error_screen.png ** Also affects: ubuntu-z-systems Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Changed in: ubuntu-z-systems Assignee: (unassigned) => Canonical Foundations Team (canonical-foundations) ** Changed in: ubuntu-z-systems Importance: Undecided => Medium ** Tags added: installer ** Tags added: subiquity -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1850460 Title: Navigation back (via Esc) not possible To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu-z-systems/+bug/1850460/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
