/usr/bin/qgis /usr/share/qgis/resources/data/world_map.shp
reports:
ERROR 4: `/usr/share/qgis/resources/data/world_map.shp' not recognized as a
supported file format.
This is a file packaged with QGIS.
Further, when chosing an CRS, the world map (which should highlight the
valid area of the selected CRS is not displayed.
