Well, im still having this problem too - and as im trying to fix it, im always making it worse. So, i would suggest you leave it as it is and try to buy a motherboard with an onboard soundcard. I know it sounds weird - but i dont have any other solution. bythe way, this is what I did, and if you happen to find any other solution to this (dman) :) problem, i would be very pleased if you could inform me.
