I cannot observe the problem you describe. Lines for me are correctly wrapped
at 72 characters.
Would you mind filing an upstream bug at
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/enter_bug.cgi#h=dupes%7CThunderbird, I'm sure they
will be able to help you figure out why this is not working as expected. Please
share the link to the upstream bug here. Thanks!
