As noted in the last comment I posted on this, I have managed to get the
printer to work OK.
Would it be possible to simplify/clarify somewhere what the different
connections made by printers such as this are and mean? That is, when
you plug this printer in, you get several 'printers' showing up in CUPS
and in the Settings GUI. As some of them don't actually work, could they
be either made to work or hidden in some way?
BTW, the Ubuntu Debugging printer problems WIKI could usefully be
changed to reflect that for a USB printer you shouldn't expect to see
any /dev/usb/lp* at all (or at least that seems to be the case for this
printer).
