Public bug reported:

Well, I expected an fully automatic process sending all the required
data automagically to you.

I try to install Ubuntu 18.04 LTS from DVD onto an USB-Stick. I already
removed the hard disk, so it can not interfere. Today I changed the USB-
Stick from MBR to GPT, and tried to 'delete all, make fresh install',
which crashed.
