Public bug reported:
I found an issue when installing Ubuntu via IPXE and the network-console
(the SSH installer). It is not possible any more to set a password in
the preseed file.
The commands
d-i network-console/password password somepasswd
d-i network-console/password-again password somepasswd
are ignored and the file /etc/shadow shows no encrypted password for the
installer user.
The issue occurrs on Ubuntu 19.04 and 19.10, on Ubuntu 18.10 and below,
this problem does not exist.
** Affects: debian-installer (Ubuntu)
