Public bug reported:
Hi,
I'm desperately trying to find a way to tell ubuntu, that podman would
be a better choice than docker.io, if Ubuntu wants to get closer to
Kubernetes, since podman uses the same engine and has other advantages,
such as better security due to not requiring a daemon running as root.
I therefore had opened a bug for it #1851353 which was just closed as
invalid by Tianon Gravi.
His comment was, that it was invalid to open a bug for it, it would be
more appropriate to open a bug instead.
Sorry, that I do not see any sense in this reasoning and do not
understand, why I should open a bug report instead of opening a bug
report, but if that's the required way to communicate with ubuntu, I'm
willing to do this... So here is my bug report instead of the former bug
report.
