I have to go through a lot of trouble in order to do that. I would first need to install ubuntu 16.04 and then upgrade to 18.04 and then connect a DVI-I monitor to be able to do this. I cannot install ubuntu 18.04 directly since there is also a bug in linux kernel version 5 that will cause my computer to totally hang when reading from any disk (HDD/SDD/USB) and so the installation hangs at "copying files" when trying to install any Linux with kernel version 5.x+. Still, if you think you need this log files to solve the issue, I will do this. Can you please confirm whether this is necessary?
