While working with the Ubuntu maintainers of fwupd, they've determined
that I have an issue with the AMD driver on Ubuntu's 5.0 kernel in
19.04. In the sample program that they provided (see read-dpcd.c
attached) the call to aux_read(fd, REG_RC_CAP, buf, 1) hangs on my
machine. They recommended I post the issue here.

Machine is a Dell 7730 with AMD WX4150 graphics.
