This pretty much sounds like [1][2].
While there might be a fix for it in the future in the code (the BZ
looks that way) There are two important things to take away right now:
1. it seems to depend on a slight misconfiguration (different in lower/upper
case in user name)
Something similar might apply to your case
2. There is a workaround in adding this to sssd config that seems to clean them
ad_maximum_machine_account_password_age = 0
