It is the compositor. CPU load keeps low when I deactivate the compositor before connecting the display. Many other issues stay though:
- Position of the second display is not remembered - have to adjust it every time. - Windows are positioned the wrong way - they are repositioned adjusting to the height of the second screen, but not to the screen they are displayed on - Setting one display as main does not have any effect, panels etc stay where they were -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1853766 Title: xfwm4 produces high load when external screen is connected To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xfwm4/+bug/1853766/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
