The google-compute-engine-oslogin package was split off from the version to be packaged but there is no tagged release yet in the new repository: https://github.com/GoogleCloudPlatform/guest-oslogin
If I package the new compute-image-packages version without also packaging guest-oslogin there would be no source in the Ubuntu archive to rebuild google-compute-engine-oslogin, thus a guest-oslogin release or guidance to use a git snapshot is required for updating the packages. I have asked for a tagged release at: https://github.com/GoogleCloudPlatform/guest-oslogin/issues/16 ** Bug watch added: github.com/GoogleCloudPlatform/guest-oslogin/issues #16 https://github.com/GoogleCloudPlatform/guest-oslogin/issues/16 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1853846 Title: Update gce-compute-image-packages to 20191121 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gce-compute-image-packages/+bug/1853846/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
