Public bug reported: [needs-packaging] SuiteCRM
SuiteCRM is a major open-source customer relations management program. It's mature, having forked from SugarCRM some years back, and is a standard web+database (PHP/MariaDB) application. Currently, it's not packaged, and it has an installer which is a bit like the mediawiki one: where you unzip into a web directory and run scripts as apache: this is fine for a one-off, but is a headache for multiple instances, and a major nuisance for updates or security patches. We have a full time developer on SuiteCRM, so would be happy to take-on/join the maintenance of this project, if someone could provide some guidance.
