This happens to me everytime I update firefox through the update
manager. Before, I used to get this error, I would go ahead and do the
manual fix. But now, I dont see that error anymore, but I still have to
go and add the code suggested by daniel. Just now, something wierd
happened. I wanted to provide you with any errors printed in the error
console, so I closed firefox, went back the commented the line added,
and started firefox again. Surprisingly, everything is working. I have
no clue as to whats causing the error, why it happened in the first
place, why adding the code fixed it, and why its still working even
after I commented the change.
I am running, Ubuntu 7.10 with all the latest updates as of 11/27/07,
firefox 2.0.0.10.
