Now, in Linux Mint MATE 19.3 : - If I choose "English" at the boot screen on the ISO, and "French" as the locale once the installer loads, I get the "French" keyboard as the default choice. - If I choose "French" at the boot screen on the ISO and "Français" as the locale once the installer loads, I get the "Francais (variante obsolète)" keyboard as the default choice.
None of these 2 keyboard are good. In both case, I should get the "Francais (azerty)" keyboard as the default choice because it's the most common keyboard in France. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1807344 Title: Wrong french keyboard when installing Ubuntu To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubiquity/+bug/1807344/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
