Hi, I have similar issue with AC3165 on Lenovo 720S. To be more precise I can't connect to 2.4Ghz network on new TP-Link router but able to connect to 5Ghz network. Insteresting that the issue doesn't not appear with older access point which provides only 2.4Ghz network using the same WiFi basic settings (802.11n mode, 20Mhz channel bandwith, AES encryption).
*BUT* what does solve the issue in my case is reloading of iwlwifi module after boot. I.e. doing # modprobe -r iwlwifi # modprobe iwlwifi fixes 2.4Ghz connection issue with TP-Link -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1848953 Title: Intel wifi 3165 [8086:3165] subsystem id [8086:4010] not working properly in Ubuntu 19.10 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1848953/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
