Public bug reported: Steps to reproduce:
1. Login to Ubuntu and use apps, e.g. I was using Firefox and Visual Studio Code 2. Close the laptop lid (note that I did not power down or close apps prior to closing lid) 3. Some time later...open the laptop lid *** Keyboard does not respond - i.e. I can't type my password into the login field *** Trackpad works fine. Touchscreen and "soft keyboard" work fine. *** If I restart ubuntu logging in, the keyboard starts working fine.
