I too have an Acer Swift 3 314-57 with Core i5 and an NVMe 512GB disk. I too see the problem reported here and elsewhere on the net about things going for a toss when you suspend. The laptop does not wake up from suspend, the screen stays dark, the keyboard hangs (does not respond to the key combination for keyboard backlight change) and the only way out is to press & hold power button until it shuts down.
I tried the mainline kernel v5.4 as mentioned by Kai-Heng Feng in comment #20. No difference in behaviour.
