Hi Olivier, the only site I've experienced this on is Craigslist. But that said, it's the only one I use often which uses this particular type of recaptcha.
The demo page you sent all worked fine.(thanks for that I was looking for one) As do ones with photos etc. on other sites. Here are some links to posts with phone numbers. I noticed there is a delay between clicking on both the Reply button or Show Phone Number of about 6 or 7 seconds. Then click the phone link and the recaptcha logo appears at the bottom right and the spinner in the center.
