Thank you for taking the time to report this issue and helping to make
Ubuntu better.

Examining the information you have given us, this does not appear to be
a bug report so I am marking it incomplete and suggesting you seek
support.

Processing triggers for man-db (2.7.5-1) ...
dpkg: error processing package firefox (--configure):
package is in a very bad inconsistent state; you should
 reinstall it before attempting configuration

In the description you mentioned "I found /var/lib/dpkg/lock-frontend
was locked by dpkg when I was trying to install other app, then i killed
it" which is the most likely cause of this problem. The lock is there
to prevent another process from trying to install/remove/upgrade
software whilst a process is already writing to that system. You killed
this safety/protection system allowing corruption.

You can also find help with your problem in the support forum of your
local Ubuntu community http://loco.ubuntu.com/ or asking at
https://askubuntu.com or https://ubuntuforums.org, or for more support
options please look at https://discourse.ubuntu.com/t/community-
support/709

https://help.ubuntu.com/community/ReportingBugs.

If you believe I'm in error, or can detail how you ensured nothing in
fact was doing any updates explaining the lock, or have cleaned up the
mess created, and still have the problem, please return the status to
"New" leaving a comment.
