Public bug reported:
Since two to three weeks, my keyboard sometimes becomes unresponsive after wake
up from resume. Often it is associated with an @ sign on black background, when
the machine is resumed.
After that I am back in the desktop. Trackpad and everything works, but the
keyboard doesn't.
This is on a 2009 macbook pro running uptodate 19.10.
