Public bug reported:
I started update-manager to upgrade from Feisty to Gutsy
The download phase lasted about 2 hours (with a 100Mbps link!, but actual rates
from 500 to 20 kbps)
but ended without error.
Then the "Installing the upgrades" phase started, and seemed to behave
normally, apart to
messages asking for a bug report
Could not install
'/var/cache/apt/archives/cupsys_1.3.2-1ubuntu7.1_i386.deb
Could not install 'cupsys'
After about 2 hours (30 % according the meter bar) it started:
"Preparing to configure bluez-gnome", and froze with the following lines
in
the terminal window:
Unpacking replacement libbluetooth2 ...
Selecting previously deselected package bluez-cups.
Unpacking bluez-cups (from .../bluez-cups_3.19-0ubuntu3_i386.deb) ...
Selecting previously deselected package bluez-gnome.
Unpacking bluez-gnome (from .../bluez-gnome_0.14-0ubuntu2_i386.deb) ...
Preparing to replace bluez-utils 3.9-0ubuntu4 (using
.../bluez-utils_3.19-0ubuntu3_i386.deb) ...
* Stopping Bluetooth services
I have no idea what to do now.
It would be kind to reply as soon as possible, as I need this machine to work,
and would be sad to be obliged to revert to Fedora....
