I'm not convinced that the auto-eject will always work (it hasn't in the
past due to bugs; and independently I suspect there are drives that
don't support the software eject function).

That said, you're right that casper's init script prompts via usplash to
remove the CD, and the distinction between "right now, while this
message is being displayed" and "at some later point during shutdown" is
rather unclear and not very well-worded, so I agree it's probably OK to
remove the text from ubiquity too.
