Cleanlooks is a style, not a platformtheme. Can you try with
QT_QPA_PLATFORMTHEME=gtk3 QT_STYLE_OVERRIDE=cleanlooks? Or, even better,
check if it is reproducible when qt5-gtk2-platformtheme is not
installed.
