Public bug reported: Prior to upgrading to eoan (from disco 19.04) xfce4-screenshooter worked perfectly.
However when I use it now, it seems to fail to copy the image to the clipboard. You can reproduce this easily by doing this to take a full screen screenshot to the clipboard. xcfe4-screenshooter -f -c Now open GIMP and press SHIFT-CTRL-V to paste the clipboard into a new image. GIMP reports "There is no image data in the clipboard to paste". clipman also reports "The clipboard is empty". I usesd to be able to paste screenshots to - gimp - libreoffice writer - chrome but none of these work any more. $ lsb_release -rd Description: Ubuntu 19.10 Release: 19.10 $ apt-cache policy xfce4-screenshooter xfce4-screenshooter: Installed: 1.9.6-1 Candidate: 1.9.6-1 Version table: *** 1.9.6-1 500 500 http://gb.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu eoan/universe amd64 Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status ** Affects: xfce4-screenshooter (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1859327 Title: xfce4-screenshooter copy to clipboard doesn't work To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xfce4-screenshooter/+bug/1859327/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
