Public bug reported:
I have installed Ubuntu 16.04 on my new Lenovo Lenovo IdeaPad S145-15IIL. The
touchpad (ElanTech 0633) is not working.

Running 'xinput -list' doesn't show the touchpad.
By running 'sudo acpidump | grep -C3 -i elan', I can see that my ElanTech
touchpad id is 0633.
1) My ubuntu release: Ubuntu 16.04.6 LTS (16.04)
2) My kernel version (uname -srv): Linux 4.15.0-74-generic
#83~16.04.1-Ubuntu
3) Expected behaviour: ubuntu boots up -> mouse cursor can be controlled
by the touchpad, and it should respond to touchpad clicks and scroll
gestures.
4) Actual behaviour: ubuntu boots up -> mouse cursor can NOT be
controlled by the touchpad, and it DOES NOT respond to touchpad clicks
and scroll gestures at any point in time.
