On a clean power on boot I ran: apport-cli -f -p network-manager --save 1860806.apport
So this file contains (hopefully) the information needed while the machine is in the broken condition (only on fresh power-on). After restart (soft boot) to obtain Internet I ran: ubuntu-bug 1860806.apport I don't know how to force the last command to direct the information to this bug report. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1860806 Title: Ubuntu 18.04 and 19.04 new ethernet problem To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/network-manager/+bug/1860806/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
