I sincerely appreciate you prompt and considered reply.  Rushed off the 
download site to quick and then spent a good deal of time trying to 
verify the downloaded iso file without success.  Will delete the entire 
downloaded iso file, download it again and see if the instructions for 
verifying it that pop up will work to verify the iso file before leaving 
the download site.  Then will create a new boot stick.
