Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: rhythmbox
rhythmbox should ignore additional partitions on an iPod that do not
contain the database or directory structure of an iPod. I (and I
believe some others) have added an additional partition on my iPod for
holding personal data. However, when I connect the iPod to my Ubuntu
laptop it attempts to import all the non-music files found in the
additional partition resulting in quite a few import errors.
Note: sector size is 2048 (not 512)
Disk /dev/sdc: 8120 MB, 8120172544 bytes

Units = cylinders of 15500 * 2048 = 31744000 bytes
