I can see the installed bitmap fonts with fc-list:
$ fc-list | grep dina
/usr/share/fonts/bitmap/dina/Dina_r400-9.bdf: Dina:style=Regular
/usr/share/fonts/bitmap/dina/Dina_r400-8.bdf: Dina:style=Regular
[... etc]
