I downloaded another ISO via torrent again, and ran the "check disk for errors" test (or was it check integrity? i cant remember now) and it passed. Well, it crashed again at the same spot, and so I went and found the md5sum for the ISO I downloaded and it didn't match.
Thanks for looking into this. I'll re download it again, until I get one that matches, and after one does I'll run the installer again and see if it crashes. If it does, I'll keep re writing it and running the verify test and trying again. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1861537 Title: installer crashes when it is "creating partitions" or "calculating files to skip copying" To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubiquity/+bug/1861537/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
