I don't know if it's the same issue - but recently on Debian an issue was found with the tpm driver that was preventing suspend and resume working on a number of systems: https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=939170
They saw the issue on X1 4th Gen. Maybe try blacklisting your tpm driver and see if that makes a difference? ** Bug watch added: Debian Bug tracker #939170 https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=939170 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1861837 Title: machine doesn't come up after suspend and re-opening the lid To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1861837/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
