Thanks for the update. There is some interesting things I've noticed in
your dmesg output. It appears that you keyboard is originally detected
as:
[ 57.388936] input: Sony Computer Entertainment Inc. SCE USB Keyboard as
/class/input/input3
[ 57.388973] input: USB HID v1.00 Keyboard [Sony Computer Entertainment Inc.
SCE USB Keyboard] on usb-0000:00:10.1-2.1
However after you hotplug it back in, it looks like it's:
[ 110.196267] input: BTC Multimedia USB Keyboard as /class/input/input7
[ 110.196293] input: USB HID v1.10 Keyboard [BTC Multimedia USB Keyboard] on
usb-0000:00:10.1-2.1
This will need some further investigation as to why it's not detected
properly in the first place. I'm tagging this report as 'hardy-kernel-
candidate' to make sure we carry this report forward. Thanks!
