Thanks for the bug report. I can see two separate problems in the
attached files:

----------

(1) Connector 86 (the internal laptop screen) is being detected as
unplugged over and over again. This might be a hardware fault or it
might be a kernel bug:

[  5631.614] (WW) modeset(0): hotplug event: connector 86's link-state
is BAD, tried resetting the current mode. You may be leftwith a black
screen if this fails...

----------

(2) PCI device 0000:00:1c.0 is experiencing repeated kernel errors:

[ 144.295893] pcieport 0000:00:1c.0: AER: Corrected error received:
0000:00:1c.0
[  144.295900] pcieport 0000:00:1c.0: AER: PCIe Bus Error: severity=Corrected,
type=Physical Layer, (Receiver ID)
[  144.295905] pcieport 0000:00:1c.0: AER:   device [8086:9d14] error
status/mask=00000001/00002000
[  144.295908] pcieport 0000:00:1c.0: AER:    [ 0] RxErr

That device is the motherboard's "Intel Corporation Sunrise Point-LP PCI
Express Root Port #5". So that sounds like another hardware fault.
